At the beginning of the year I created one of my favourite visualisations of New York City Buses. Simple, clean and minimal this animation shows an hour of bus journeys in New York City, accompanied by a very moody score!

Shortly following that I decided to create a more upbeat version. The ‘Brooklyn Shuffle’ version shows the same movement data as the above yet uses disco-grids to bin the number of unique journeys in the grid at any one point. Brighter grids show more buses!
